November 8th, Hollywood, CA: On Nov 11th, 2011 the groundbreaking video game; The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was released. On Feb 14th, 2012 Kristen Nedopak wrote a love letter to one of the game’s AI companions, Lydia, in the form of a parody in “To Lydia with Love” (released Valentine’s Day). To Lydia With Love had over 500k views in less than 2 months, and was covered by over 30 major geek outlets.
Now, this Sunday Nov 11, 2012, for 5 consecutive weeks, Kristen Nedopak (Named one of 2012′s “Most Dangerous Women at Comic-Con”) will be releasing 5 more episodes of her inspired comedy web-series: The Skyrim Parodies. That’s right! TLWL is an official selection at the Dragon*Con 2012 Film Festival, and is up for Best Fan Film and Best Short Film. Skyrim will be screening on Sunday Sept 2 at 10AM at the Hyatt’s “Learning Center,” as part of the ”Fan Films & Geek Celebrations” block. The awards ceremony takes place on Monday at 1pm. Skyrim creator Kristen Nedopak will be there draped in Forsworn gear… be sure to say hello!
